Good Morning. Happy Friday!
TFTD: God will not withhold any GOOD thing…
Psalm 84:11-12 (New King James Version)
11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly.
12 O LORD of hosts, Blessed is the man who trusts in You!
Do you know that there is NO GOOD thing that God will keep from you when you walk uprightly?
This scripture blesses my soul. It is great to know that God has promised to never withhold any GOOD thing from me. Now this is a promise of God that I choose to stand on and I pray that others will stand on. However there is a catch; you must walk uprightly. What does it mean to walk uprightly? I am glad that you asked. It means to walk in an honorable manner. I’ll take it a step further, we must walk in a manner which is pleasing and acceptable to God.
We can’t say anything out of our mouths and think that God will be pleased. We can’t treat people less than human beings and think that God will be pleased. We can’t live a life contrary to the Word of God and think that He will be pleased. We must walk uprightly!
NEWSFLASH: When you live a life that is displeasing and dishonorable to God then your blessings will be withheld from you. Yes, God will keep your blessings when YOU act against His will.
So that means if something is withheld from you, it’s not God’s fault it’s your fault. God has so many GOOD things waiting on you, will you choose to walk in the ways of the Lord? Will you choose to live a life that is honorable to him?
I pray that you spend time daily in the presence of God through prayer, fasting, reading, meditating, and studying His Word!
Have a blessed weekend.
Remember God loves you!
