About Nicole “Sunshine” Ellis

NIk E Headshot smile yellow black jacket

Greetings, my name is Nicole L. Ellis and I am a child of God, a member of a royal priest hood, and I love the Lord.  I am a wife, and a mother of three beautiful children; two daughters and one son. I am a self-published author of Reflections of the Son (inspirational poetry)  and Fit For A Purpose: A Spiritual Journey to Physical Weight Loss.  I love writing poetry, doing spoken word, encouraging, and inspiring others.  God has blessed me with a gift in creative communication and I humbly submit myself to do His will His way.

In 2005, God called me to start an email ministry known as the Thought for the Day (TFTD).  What started out as a simple email meant to encourage  a few friends in my address book has grown to reach people across the globe.  Everything that I write is inspired by God.  I am merely a willing vessel used to spread the message.  The sole purpose of this ministry is to enlighten, inspire, encourage, convict, compel, educate, and spread the Word of Jesus Christ.

With the overwhelming growth of the email ministry I pray that this Blog will serve as a tool to reach many more people.  By sharing this blog with others you can join me in being apart of the Great Commission that Matthew 28:19-20 speaks of.

Matthew 28:19-20 says “Go thereforeand make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

I pray that I can continue to bring a little “Sunshine” into your life.

Tell everyone that you know, both young and old, male and female, saved, un-saved, or on the fence that a ray of Sunshine has hit the blog world and she is ready to shine some light onto their lives.

God bless and Enjoy!

~Nicole L. Ellis, MBA
