Sunshine’s Reflections

Good afternoon!  This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it.  What a wonderful day, to share hope and inspiration with all of you wonderful people.  Enjoy.

TFTD: Bring them back to life with kindness

Proverbs 19:22 (New King James Version)

22 What is desired in a man is kindness, And a poor man is better than a liar.

We have all heard the saying “Kill them with kindness”.  But when I sit back and really think about that statement do we really want to “kill” anyone.   I believe that people who are angry all of the time, mean, conniving, deceitful, back-bitters, instigators, and trouble makers, they are already dying in some aspect in their emotional and spiritual life.

Instead of “killing them with kindness”, why don’t we bring them back to life with kindness.  We all desire to be kind whether we admit it or not, no one wants to be angry all of the time and no one wants to hang around miserable people all of the time.  Some where along the lines unkind people have lost hope.  They began conforming to their environment of negativity and have begun spreading it like wild-fire; affecting everyone that they come in contact with.  They are hurting themselves and slowly dying a painful emotional and spiritual death.

It’s time to bring these people back to life with kindness.  There is someone who you deal with on a daily basis with a nasty attitude and you really want to give them a piece of your mind.  I caution you not to.  Do not return evil for evil.  Bring their wounded hearts back to life with kindness.  Do something kind for someone today; not to the people who are always nice to you, but to the people who are mean to you.  They may be on verge of giving up and your kind gesture or act can bring them back to life.

What will you do to bring someone back to life with kindness?  Do something today!  Do something everyday!  A kind word is free, a hand shake and a hug doesn’t cost a thing.  Do something kind today!  Someone’s life depends on it!

Have a blessed day!
